Khan has been a strong evangelist for mobile payments, mobile/omni-channel marketing, efficient & secured payment infrastructure, multi-factor authentication, and technologies like NFC-contactless, QR codes, tokenization & Blockchain. He co-founded ViVOtech in 2001, where he started the journey to make a mobile device a viable payment media for payments & informed shopping experience for consumers. He paved the road for NFC mobile payments through shipping million plus NFC POS readers to merchants globally and driving more than 40 field trials of NFC mobile payments, coupons, and loyalty. With more than 50 U.S. patents granted and pending, Khan's journey continues until mobile becomes a mainstream informed and seamless shopping & payment experience device for billions of consumers globally. He is currently the President & Co-founder, Board Member at Omnyway, where he empowers retailers, banks, and brands to deliver digitally enhanced shopping experiences to their customers and gain their long-term loyalty. Omnyway contextual digital commerce platform enables shoppers to use a mobile app for all aspects of their buying journey, and creates a dynamic digital channel between the retailer and the shopper across all channels of interaction - in store, online, in-app, virtual aisle, and dynamic media, using any smart mobile device. Khan has also served as the Board Advisor for Poynt, which has reimagined the payment terminal as a smart, multipurpose device. He was also the Chairman of the Board at YellowPepper, Latin America’s Mobile payment pioneer, where he focused on transforming commerce in Latin America with a mobile payment platform that provides financial institutions, corporations, and merchants a means to revolutionize the purchasing experience.
